Introduction to Performing Arts and Media School

We are currently witnessing a movement of God to utilize the area of the arts and media to transform nations. Come, partner with God and join this movement through the Introduction to Performing Arts and Media School at our Ensenada campus.

The Introduction to Performing Arts and Media (IPM) is a five-month training school designed for those who have a desire to learn how to use different styles of the performing arts as well as media to share the Gospel. We welcome participants of all skill levels, including those that have not had any previous experience in the arts. All you need is a heart to join with God in bringing the Good News to the lost through creative means.

This school has been formed to have a strong focus on creative evangelism, as well as personal growth. During the school, you will create and develop performing arts pieces that later can be used to share the Gospel.

During the first three months, you will take an in depth look at these topics to increase your understanding and skill level in various aspects of the performing arts:

• Creating with God in Intercession
• World View
• Art Healing
• Mime and Body Movement
• Dramatic Dance/Modern Dance
• Arts History and Dance Technique
• Dance - Evangelistic Pieces
• Arts in Society/Media Technique
• Creativity and Imagination
• Media
• Theater and Acting

The lecture phase is not only a time of listening to experienced and qualified speakers, but also a time to explore and become more proficient in various dance and drama techniques as we co-create with God.

The two-month outreach phase following the lecture phase will give you an opportunity to put into practice what you have been learning and use the evangelistic tools you have created to share the Good News. You will experience firsthand how God can use the performing arts & media to transform not only people's hearts, but nations!

Cost

         World A: $3100 USD
         World B: $1500 USD
         World C: $800 USD

(plus $50 application fee for singles and $60 for couples)

The breakdown of fees for the school starting April 2011 are as follows:

A nations: $3300

B nations: $1500

C nations: $900

Dates for 2011 Quarter 1

       Arrival Date: January 6th

       Lecture Phase: January 10th-April 1st

       Outreach start: April 2nd

       Graduation: June 2nd

Dates for 2011 Quarter 4

     Arrival Date: September 23rd

     Lecture Phase: September 26 - December 16th

     Outreach Start: December 17th

     Graduation: February 16th 2012

Dates for 2012 Quarter 4

    Arrival Date: September 20th

    Lecture Phase: September 24 - December 14

    Outreach Start: December 15

    Graduation: February 14th 2013

IPM will give you a foundation in Performing Arts & Media and you will attain the same credits as if you did a SOPA (School of Performing Arts) on completion through the UofN (University of the Nations).
