Homes of Hope - Pricing
We have three levels of service to accommodate your group. Please note the brief descriptions of each level to see which one best serves your group then call our registrars to begin the process. +1 619 240 3804.
- Standard Level:
- Standard lunches
- Cafeteria-style meals at the Youth With A Mission centers in Mexico
- Free housing in our dorm-style facilities
- Site porta-potty
- Homes of Hope T-shirts
- Transportation provided from San Diego
- Standard Upgrade Level:
- Same as the Standard Level, but your accommodations will be at a local motel. The cost is approximately $80 per room per night and is to be paid by participant upon arrival to the motel. This additional motel cost is not included in your program fees.
- Deluxe Level: (on Campus or Local Hotel options)
- Deluxe lunches catered to the building site
- All dinners at local restaurants
- Site porta-potty
- Homes of Hope T-shirts
- Transportation provided from San Diego
- Framed group photo
- Hotel accommodations (eg. Residence Inn Marriott in Tijuana and Hotel Coral in Ensenada)
- Cost is approximately $150 per room per night and is to be paid directly to the hotel at check in by each participant. This cost is not included in your program fees.
Important Note
Prices are reviewed several times a year as materials and gas prices are constantly fluctuating. Prices quoted are good for 30 days. Please ask our registrars for more details.
House Fee
Each Home of Hope costs $5100.00
Optional Packages
Optional packages need to be confirmed 6 weeks prior your arrival in order to ensure availability.
House Kit (Furnishing Package)
Stove & propane tank, table & chairs, bunk bed with a double bed on the bottom (includes matching bedding),Matching plates, bowls, cups, eating utensils, curtains, small lamp, clock, rugs, and other gifts for the new home owner (items may vary) Cost $1350.00
Travel Insurance (included in your program fee)
A comprehensive accident and sickness insurance policy with travel assistance benefits is required for the length of your trip. We partner with Dissinger Ins. and they provide us with a low cost travel insurance plan. When you send in your application forms our Homes of Hope Registrar will take care of ordering this before you arrive. Please Click Here for the insurance schedule of benefits.

What do your Homes of Hope and house warming kit fees cover?
Family selection, process site visit, family follow up, slab, constructions materials delivery to site, tools, generator, tool van & trailers, porta potties, storage of tools and building materials, and general administration to make all the above work smoothly.
What do your program fees cover?
Group registration & accounting services, transportation (from San Diego to Mexico, travel in Mexico and return), event programming and media services, event tee shirt or gifts, event staffing (hosts, builders, translators, cooks), liability insurance, travelers insurance, annual audit costs & legal services and general overhead & contributions to YWAM international offices, breakfast, site lunches and dinner, warehousing and general administration to make all the above work smoothly.
Payment & Refunds
Due Dates For Payments and Group information
- 30 days from the Quote date:
- Application form is due
- Deposit ($75 non-refundable fee per person) is due. This fee is applied to the cost of your Program fees.
If we do not receive the Deposit within 30 days, your group’s reservation will be voided to make room for other groups wanting your weekend.
- 6 weeks before your group’s arrival:
- House fees
- Balance of Program fees
- Optional package fees
Furnishings package
- Room list (for motel/hotel housing only)
- Group list form
- Group Arrival form
Cancellations
- If you notify us 30 days or more prior to your group’s arrival date, you will not be charged a cancellation fee
- * $75 Deposit is non-refundable. 30 days before your group’s arrival date, the cancellation fee will be 1000% of the program fee per cancellation.
Addition team members
- Obtain confirmation from the Registrar that space is available before officially adding to your group
- Send the deposit, the additional team member will then be added to your group’s invoice
Payments
- Please process your individual fees through your ministry or organization, and then send one check from your ministry or organization to YWAM
- For non-US groups, please contact the Registrar for information regarding your group’s payment
There are 3 choices for sending payment: wire transfer, International Money Order, or US bank
- If your group is not part of an organization, please collect all fees and mail the fees to us at one time by the required due dates
