Mexican Missions Adventures - Aventuras Missioneras

Another growing program is Mexican Mission Adventures. It is a unique program offered by YWAM San Diego/Baja for Mexican youth who have a desire to learn and give back within their communities and their nation. In the past 15 years of working with the poor in Mexico, YWAM recognized the importance of teaching the next generation of Mexican youth that they can make a difference in their own communities. The concept that giving and service can come from within a community and does not have to come from those outside a country or culture, is enabling and empowering.

The demand for this program has far exceeded expectations and this year. 350 applicants were able to participate, with a goal of 500 being trained in 2006. This program plans to impact hundreds of Mexican youth, empowering them to transform their communities and impact their nation’s growth and prosperity as they learn to serve others.
