Tijuana Del Mar
Dear Homes of Hope Friends, As I reflect over the last decade, I am humbled by the service that has been extended to Mexican families by those who have built with us. As compassionate people you have come to poor Mexican neighborhoods believing a weekend of your time and energy will provide a home for a poor family and will change lives. Those trips have expanded our vision to the thousands of families in need of help. We hope to multiply this impact by making room for more people to come and serve as you have. Imagine accomplishing your original weekend vision and response on an exponential scale. That opportunity exists in the development of a facility that will support the numbers of people waiting to help. We are in the midst of an initiative to raise the needed finances for the completion of Phase I, part of a multiphase project that will be constructed without debt on the 13-acre YWAM property in Tijuana. Our accommodation buildings promises an incredible return. It will play a vital role in YWAM’s overall vision and mission, providing lodging each year for an average of 1300 Homes of Hope participants, YWAM staff and students. Over a ten-year period, that's 13,000 people who will benefit by your commitment. Because of this building, an estimated 40 Homes of Hope will be built each year. Over a ten year period, that's an estimated 400 homes built. Thousands of Mexicans will experience lives forever impacted by your generosity. The children of those families will be healthier and three times more likely to stay in school. In addition to the Homes of Hope program, there will be those who stay in the building and help feed the hungry, work in drug rehab programs, prisons, orphanages, juvenile detention centers, and assist with community development projects throughout Northern Baja, Mexico. Thank you for what you have done and for considering adding to the legacy you have already left by joining us and contributing to our building project. Blessings,
