First and foremost, I want to thank and congratulate you for all the beautiful work you do for others. I, like most moms, long to give my child a safe place to live. A place where the landlord cannot come whenever they want and ask us to leave. Right now, I live with my mom, younger brother, and my 3 year old daughter. We are currently living in a house that we rent and every month it takes everything that we have to come up with the payment. My mom and I are the only ones working to provide for my little brother and my daughter. Neither my mom or myself have help from our children’s fathers. We simply do not make enough money to be able to build a home on our own. If we received a home, we would no longer have to worry about paying rent anymore or building a home and those costs- we could just focus on paying our land payment.
