The Uplift Elective combines CrossFit and discipleship, challenging you to grow stronger physically while pursuing a deeper relationship with Christ. Through both, you'll discover the discipline and endurance needed to follow Jesus for a lifetime.
Throughout the school, you'll train through CrossFit workouts while growing alongside others through accountability, prayer, Scripture, and authentic community. As you challenge yourself physically, you'll discover that true strength is found not in performance, but in dependence on God. You'll be encouraged to pursue healthy rhythms that shape both your character and your calling.

COST: Lecture Phase: $3,995 USD (Partial scholarships available for students from Developing Nations)
OUTREACH: $3,000 - $4,500 USD. Outreach Locations may include Southeast Asia, Latin America, or Africa.

What is the DTS?
Join YWAM San Diego/Baja’s five-month Discipleship Training School (DTS), an accredited course through the University of the Nations, and dive into a transformative experience. Spend three months on campus in the beautiful Baja region of Mexico, just south of San Diego, where you’ll join powerful worship, inspiring teaching, and community life that will deepen your faith and purpose.
Following your Campus Phase, you’ll embark on a two-month cross-cultural outreach, bringing the love of Jesus to diverse communities. Our DTS programs are offered in English and Spanish each fall, winter, and spring, with campuses in San Antonio Del Mar and Ensenada—both just minutes from the beach!
