5 Steps to Bring Hope to a family

1. MAKE AN INQUIRY

You can build at our Ensenada campus or our San Antonio Del Mar campus/Tijuana Campus. 
Request a date, location and how many homes you’d like to build and our Homes of Hope registrar will contact you with information on how to register your group. With our current volume of teams coming to build, it is good to book your team as far in advance as possible. 
Many of the US holidays are popular and those dates can fill up a year in advance.

2. SECURE HOME BUILD DATE (Payment #1)

Within 30 days of registering, a $1000 deposit per house being built is due. You will receive an invoice from our registrar.  We have many teams wanting to come and build a home, which is so encouraging. Because of this, until we get the first payment we cannot secure your team’s date.

3. TEAM MEMBER FORMS

After your group is registered, you will receive an automated email from Homes of Hope with a unique link for your team. Please give this link to all team members to complete. Every member of your group must fill out the "Release of Liability" and the "Consent for Medical Treatment" on the link. 

If someone in the group does not have a passport they should apply for one as soon as possible. It can take up to six weeks to receive a U.S. passport. Each person in the group should also bring a photocopy of their passport. 

All minors traveling without a parent or legal guardian need an "Affidavit of Parental Consent" signed by the parent/guardian. This is to comply with Mexican law and it allows the minor to cross the border with the group. Click here to download the form, then print it out and bring it.

4. RESERVE TEAM HOUSING (Payment #2)

60 days before your trip, a $75 non-refundable deposit per person is due.

This will be the second payment due. This payment secures your housing, as it is limited with the growth that we are experiencing.

5. FINALIZE TRIP (Payment #3)

The total balance of all fees, for the group and the house, is due 30 days prior to your arrival.  This will be your final payment. We rely on teams to make this final payment 30 days before so that we can buy the lumber, get the concrete slab poured, order the hardware, and other expenses that we incur before the team arrives. So, thank you in advance for having your invoice paid 30 days before your arrival.

Approximately four weeks prior to your arrival we will send your group’s agenda, logistics, preliminary build information, and emergency contact information.  

Approximately ten days prior to your arrival, you will receive the final details of your trip. Review the information and if there are any last minute changes, communicate with Homes of Hope Team Contact.
