Letter from the family:

Hello, My name is Maria and I am 27 years old. I was born in Michoacan but due to the economic situation and violence there we came to Rosarito 15 years ago. I have two beautiful daughters Nallely (9 years) and Stephanie (4 years). I am studying cosmetology and work as a nail stylist. I’m a single mother but I try to give my daughters the best education possible. Nallely is in 4th grade, she loves sports especially soccer. Stephanie is in preschool and she loves dance. Until now I wasn’t able to provide our own home and we have been living with my mother and my brothers. One of my brothers has a disability and the house is too small for all of us to feel comfortable. We do need our own home. My daughters are growing up and I’m close to fulfilling my biggest dream of completing cosmetology school, owning my own land, home and salon where I can start attending clients from home. I’ve been working hard and haven’t been spending much money so we were able to keep up with our land payments. It’s been the best decision I’ve made. Thanks to God. I’ve heard about Homes of Hope and the support you give to people here in Rosarito. I asked for more information right away because I know that this is a huge help and I really need it. It’s not just help but I would call it a “dream”. Every house that you build is a dream come true for each family. Thank you so much. God bless you
