Hello. We, the Ramirez Jimenez family, write to you with the utmost respect. About three years ago my husband and I met where we’re from in Oaxaca, Mexico. We fell in love and got married soon after on the 16th of August 2019. The next year I gave birth to our son Jesus Alexander. We struggled in Oaxaca as there we almost no opportunities to find work. To seek a better life for our family and more than anything a better life for our son we and my husband’s brother moved to Tijuana where my husband’s cousin found him and his brother a job. Together my husband and his brother worked and provided for our family, food, diapers, and everything we needed. We lived together and shared the rent.
Sadly my brother in law passed away early this year and suddenly our life was in turmoil as my husbands income alone wasn’t enough to pay the rent where we lived. We were able to move in with my sister who also had later moved to Tijuana but the situation was not healthy for us so we did our best to create a place for us to live on our own. We were able to buy and be paying off a small piece of land but our income was only enough to build a small room where we live.
