FAMILY INFORMATION:

FATHER: Alfredo

Age: 34 years old

Current situation: he is in prison for a car accident.

MOTHER: Alexis

Age: 35 years old

Job: waitress

Salary Weekly: $270us

CHILDREN

Alfredo - 13 years old

Alexander - 3 years old

Letter from the family:

My name is Alexis Colin Fragoso Ruelas. I’m 35 years old and my family is made up of my 2 children, Jesús Alfredo Angeles Fragoso. He’s 13 years old and Jeff Alexander, who is 3 years old. My husband Alfredo Angeles Nunez is 34 years old. Although it has been 11 years already that by destinies circumstances my husband doesn’t live with us but we are a family like any other family. The reason why I asked Homes of Hope for help is because even though i have a husband he is not with us. It is because destiny and God wanted it that way. An accident change our lives. We were a happy family until the day of the accident everything changed and my husband went to prison when our baby Alfredo was 2 years old. We started living something that changed all our plans and even though it looked like a nightmare to me I couldn’t realized everything that was happening. Little by little time went by. I moved to live with my mom for a time and fight to overcome. I struggled a lot. Later I moved somewhere else but i struggled even more. I felt in that moment my life didn’t make sense at all but deep inside me I knew God wasn’t going to leave me alone. I decided to move forward and face my reality and encourage my husband until i realized and understood that my husband and I might have had plans but God had different ones. Those were years where depression hit me really hard. Those were very difficult times for me and my baby Alfredo since he was my only strength, sometimes when we went to see my husband every time we go home it was difficult and painful the only thing that hold us was putting our faith in God that He was going to help us even though I thought we were not over come it now days I can see God purpose for us was to makes us a stronger as family ( Me and my Husband) God wanted us to be a united and strong, its been 4 years since God changed my life I was able to overcome my suffering and depression and see life in a different way that’s when I got pregnant with Jeff Alexander that made me realize that God had wonderful plans for us to be a Family no matter our circumstances, its been 11 years that Ive been waiting for my husband to get out of jail, 3 years ago i decided to move forward so my children and my husband can have a House some day a place of our own where we can share good moments when we get to be together again as the family we are, life is not easy specially when we have to pay so many things that’s way i decided to ask for help and be a recipient for a home, one day I applied through facebook and even though i had applied

years ago but i couldn’t qualify since the land wasn’t mine it was my moms and she didn’t wanted me to continue with the application, I decided to make an effort and work hard to get my own land and apply again with my own land. I can see now this as God working because I know there’s so many people wishing for an opportunity like this, Thank God this is the second time I’ve been blessed and this Thanks to God because He can see I’m brave and even though all Ive been through He knows I make an effort to move forward and support my family, my children and husband I know this could or could not happen I have all my faith that is going to be God’s will and there’s nothing that will stop me with God’s plan. I feel very relieved to be able to release everything I wrote in this letter and I am not ashamed of anything I said, maybe in the past I would’ve been hard to share it but i thank God for touching my life because now I can see hard times in life as lessons to learn from, this way I have learned to thank God for al the good and bad things that happen in my life. This is a little part of my life story, God bless you.

Tow years went by and he came back saying he was gonna change he wanted us to go to church because he wanted us to move forward and he did change for a bit but not to long after the problems started again, one day he came home drunk and beat me really hard that broke two front teeth and that’s went I decided I didn’t want that life style I left him and got into depression right away, he change the key locks and I had to go from place to place with my children 6 and 9 year old at that time, it was hard some times we didn’t eat for two days, I was embarrassed to go to my moms and let her know I failed in marriage, I asked for help to an aunt and she allowed me to live at her house, I found a job and started paying off my debts and buying what my children needed since we didn’t have anything. There was a time when my oldest daughter Alma Natalia got sick and the doctors asked me if I knew about her sickness, I said no, and they explained to me she had muscular hypertrophy I didn’t know anything about this and when the doctors told me about it my world fall apart because I didn’t know what to do, at that time I had plans, I wanted to fix my front teeth, buy a stove, a fridge, a washer machine and a bed, until this day I haven’t been able to do so, Its been my personal dream to fix my teeth I can’t smile because I feel embarrassed, that and my Daugther’s sickness make feel so sad since there’s no cure for what she has, she gets anxiety attacks and panic, she has episodes often, I had to move to my moms Ive been with her for two years because I have many expenses, one of my daughters is going to high school and the other one is going to junior high and the expenses are higher I worked as an artisan I make piñatas and I get payed every 1 days.

I dream about having my house, a safe place where I can say is my own, a place where I can hug my daughters and thank The Lord every day for His goodness, I want to continue moving forward and one day see how all the effort and everything we have been thorough was worth it, I know God’s times are perfect and everything is for a reason and if I am writing this letter right now its not by chance or luck, miracles are real and I have always asked God for help to give my daughters a home and continue moving forward. Thank you so much for taking the time to read my letter, God bless you always. Ana Isabel Mendoza Trejo.

Redeemer's Fellowship - Martinez Abarca (Blue Team)

Date Build: Sat 30 - Sun 31, December 2023

FAMILY INFORMATION:

FATHER: Juan Ernesto

Age: 29 years old

Profession: Factory

Salary Weekly: $145 US

MOTHER: Zuri

Age: 26 years old

Profession: Stay at Home Mom

CHILDREN

Emily - 7 years old

Eithan - 5 years old

Letter from the family:

We present ourselves to you as the Martínez Abarca family.

As a family, it gives us joy to be able to write this letter because we can see that the prayers we make to God are never in vain and that they are never late. God's timing is the most perfect, and we can see that it is one more step where God answers our requests.

We want to share a little with you about our situation, which is why we are asking for your support to be able to obtain a Esperanza house.

We are a family of 4 members, dad Juan Ernesto Martínez, 29 years old. Mother Zuri Esveidy Abarca Hernández, 25 years old, daughter Emily Denisse Abarca Hernández, 7 years old, and our 5-month-old baby Eithan Isaac Martínez Abarca.

We live on our land, but with a mobile home that some brothers lent us where we congregate, we have been living here since July 16, 2022. Unfortunately, the mobile home is very damaged, the ceiling in the entrance area is very damaged, a window is smashed and broken, because of this we had to cover it with wood. When it rains it drips from the roof and water gets through the window, and at night we are cold because of the broken window and the window is located where we all sleep together.

Unfortunately, we do not have the resources to repair the mobile home, since only 1 member of this family is the one who works and is a father.

Juan Ernesto, who with effort is the one who supplies in this house, Mom cannot work because she is the one who takes care of the children at home and does the domestic work at home. Sadly, our children have gotten sick because of the cold wind blowing into the house, to the point that we had to nebulize the baby because he got bronchiolitis. Thank God today the baby is stable.

We do not ask for or look for a luxurious house, we just want to live with dignity in a house where our children will not be cold, where tomorrow they will have a room to sleep in and a small table to sit at and eat. God knows our hearts and the great need we are going through, and that is why we share this need with you. In Psalms 37:4 it says delight yourself in the Lord, and he will grant the desires of your heart. We thank you for allowing us to express our situation with you. For us, it would be a great blessing if our children have a place to live. Thank you for reading our letter, where we express our need for God to bless you greatly.

Hello, my name is Emily Denise, I am 7 years old, and I am in first grade. My wish is that my little brother and I can one day have a little house where we no longer have to be very cold, much less get wet from the leaks in the house. My dream is to have my own room, so I can play with my little brother. I know that one day we will have the house that I have dreamed of so much, I hope that one day God can fulfill that dream.

Letter from the family:

Good afternoon. First of all, thank you for the opportunity to apply to Casas de Esperanza. As his collaborators said, it is no coincidence that we saw this advertisement on the internet and God put them on our path. They are a new hope for our family, since we were renting for many years and they saw our biggest dream increasingly distant. My parents donated half of their land to me. We have not been able to raise money to build for three years because materials and labor are becoming more and more expensive. We have only put the machine in to pair it. And the only financial income is that of my partner, but now with 3 children, food, school and the vile, we have seen the situation very complicated. We would like to have a home to give stability to our children, since we have a 1-month-old baby and a 12-year-old preteen who already needs her space, and it makes me sad not to be able to give it to her. I appreciate your time reading my letter and with all the faith in the world I ask God to fulfill this great dream for our family of having a home.

Leylani - 14 years old

Melany - 10 years old

Letter from the family:

To whom it may concern My name is Sergio Mira Enríquez. First of all I want to tell you a little about my life, I am originally from the State of Mexico where I got married and I had 2 girls who have been my driving force and motivation, because after 14 years of marriage with their mother the divorce came, thus being the most difficult stage of my life and my family, because losing the family that we had built was very difficult and after many situations experienced with my daughters I decided to fight for legal custody of my daughters, which was granted to me in the courts of the family in the State of Mexico. And that was where our journey began, because after having a house that we thought was ours, everything was lost. We arrived in Rosarito with the help of an aunt on my mother's side. To this day she has given us a space to live, as she rents us a home in the Real de Rosarito II neighborhood, where I live with my 2 daughters in a room that we rent, since not only do I live at home, but I share it with 3 families, each one rents a room and everything else in the house is shared. That is, the kitchen, the bathroom and the dining room. Well, this is why I ask for your support, since what I earn is not enough for me to build something, since the money that is generated goes in payments for food, payment for land, clothing and, more and more, my daughters are growing up and I think it is no longer healthy for me to sleep with them in the same bed, since they are already teenagers and need their personal space, since soon they will be young ladies. Well this is the main reason why I request your support, I also know and trust in God, because He only knows the true needs of each person.

To whom it may concern, a cordial greeting. We were glad to know about the help that Casas de Esperanza provides, since my husband and I do not have the resources to build, and with the rent payments we do not have enough money, so sadly we cannot build him a home to our 5 year old son. Nowadays rents are expensive and where we rent is not a place in good condition, we also only have my husband's salary, and that makes it even more difficult, our son is growing up and does not have his own bed, for us His parents hearing that from him is sad, sad that we cannot provide him with the privacy he requires and will require. The Baca Estrada family appreciates the hope of having the opportunity to obtain a house of hope, thank you very much for listening to us.
