STEPS TO APPLY: 

1. MAKE AN INQUIRY

Our Homes of Hope registrar will receive your inquiry and contact you with information on how to register your group.

2. SEND IN A DEPOSIT AND PAY FEES

Within 30 days of registering, a $1000 deposit per house being built is due. You will receive a quote and an invoice from our office. Click here to make a payment.

 

60 days before your trip, the $75 non-refundable deposit per person is due. Click here to make a payment.

 

The total balance of all fees, for the group and the house, is due 30 days prior to your arrival. Click here to make a payment.

 

3. FILL OUT FORMS

After your group is registered, we will send you a link to some mandatory forms online. Every member of your group must fill out a "Release of Liability" and a "Consent for Medical Treatment" form on this link. 

 

All minors traveling without a parent or legal guardian need an "Affidavit of Parental Consent" signed by the parent/guardian. This is to comply with Mexican law and it allows the minor to cross the border with the group. Click here to download the form, then print it out and bring it.

 

Eight to ten weeks before your trip, download and fill out the "Arrival/Departure Form." Then, send it back to us.

 

4. PASSPORT CHECK

If someone in the group does not have a passport, they should apply for one as soon as possible. It can take up to six weeks to receive a U.S. passport. Each person in the group should also bring a photocopy of their passport. 

 

5. REVIEW THE AGENDA 

The field coordinator will send your group’s agenda, logistics, preliminary build information, and emergency contact information, approximately four weeks prior to your arrival. Review the information and if there are any changes regarding your group, update our registrar.

 

6. REVIEW FINAL DETAILS

Approximately ten days prior to your arrival, you will receive the final details of your trip from the field coordinator. Review the information and if there are any last minute changes, update the field coordinator.
