Letter From the Family:
I lived with my mother for many years and that was very uncomfortable. When we saw the opportunity to purchase our own property we took it and built a little room made of wood. It’s only dirt floor but we were able to have our own space.
But I don’t have the money to build more or improve what we have, and one of my children, Alejandro has a problem with his lungs and where we live, it rains all the time.
He can handle it for a bit, but then I need to send him to stay with my mother for a few days because he gets really bad. The house will help protect us from the rain, wind, cold and insects. Just thinking about the house gets me really excited.
