Letter from the family: To whom it may concern, My name is Diana Patricia Lora, I am a mother to three kids, Leidy Alejandra Morales Lora 21 yrs old, Victor Maneul Morales Lora 17 yrs old and Ana Maria Loaiza Lora 14 yrs old, we are all from Colombia and came to Mexico seeking opportunities for a better life, we arrived 7 years ago. We used to live with my ex- partner, he was an abusive person to all of us and had us move from place to place. It came to the point that I needed a better life for my kids and myself, so I left him and we all walked out on him only carrying our clothes and personal items in trash bags because the owner of the house was about to kick us out, as it normally happened because of the abusive situation. Now we live with a friend of mine that lets us stay with her and her family, but we live in a small place that is crowded with many people and they have requested her to move out, so I am in the process of searching for a small room where we could live. A friend of mine spoke to me about acquiring a piece of land that she was going to help me with the down payment and after that I needed to continue to pay, now that we have our land, we are seeking for help to have our own living space to finally have stability and be able to be safe as a family. During this had time I was able to know more about God as my personal Savior and provider, that even through hard times He is always by my side, when I knew about this opportunity to apply for a home I was truly blessed and thankful that God is leading me and my family towards the right people, in order to be able to help my children achieve their dreams after everything that they have gone through. As of now I can only give you my phone number because we don’t know where we are going to be staying for this time, but I know God has total control of this situation.
