May God bless you, Thanks for taking the time to read my letter, my name is Ericka and I would like to share my current living situation. My house is made from wood and it was built more than 20 years ago, when it rains my house leaks everywhere and it constantly humid. My roof is no longer good, because is worn out and the floor its now falling into pieces, the walls in my house were not made from new wood twenty years ago, so they are even older and in bad shape. We have not been able to fix it since my husbands works in a manufacturing company, but his income is quite low, and we have a son in school, groceries, and everyday living expenses, plus having to pay for my constant visits to the doctor and dialysis has taken a toll on our economy.
The humidity that we have in our house has affected our son with rhinitis and pharyngitis, I constantly have a cough being visually and physically impaired. I require to be in a place without humidity, free of mold and dust due to my health, since I must be doing my dialysis every 6 hours at home sometimes under the rain with a wet floor and that has become an issue that I have been hospitalized for weeks at the time.
I hope my living situation can improve and my son can have a better place to sleep and live without being worried to get wet.
