Letter from the family: We are a family of six, when we decided to move together my husband and I, it was a very important decision for us, but we did not have a place to live, and my mother let us stayed with her while we found our own place. A few months after moving together, I was pregnant with my first child and was working with my mom and oldest sister selling burritos, while my husband worked as a blacksmith helper. Two years later I was pregnant with my second child and by the fifth month we had to leave from my mother’s place and move into my in-laws because with the low income my husband had we couldn’t afford to sustain our family, pay rent and me being pregnant. My second child has had respiratory issues since birth, and we had to invest in a lot of medical studies and heart tests, eighteen months later I was pregnant with my third child which was a very tiring pregnancy taking care of my sick child, then my first child was diagnosed with asthma and pneumonia, so we had to be in and out o the hospital with him for weeks at the time, with all this issues it has been almost impossible for us to start building something, because we need to pay for our land, family needs and baby’s needs. We share our story with you and know that we are thankful for taking the time, energy, finances and love to invest in our family and help us build a better place to give them a better future.
