Hello, my name is Blanca. I’m writing to you to ask for help for my family. We moved to Tijuana 4 years ago from Southern Mexico, we were looking for a better life. We got a piece of land and have been working hard to make the payments. My husband is a mason and has been able to find work here, thankfully. We have been having a hard time making ends meet with so many bills, especially our land payment. Our landlord just let us know that they are also upping our rent. My husband is working hard, but it is not easy. I do what I can to contribute to my household so that my husband doesn’t feel so much pressure. My kids always ask me why their daddy can’t take them to the park, I have to tell them that he needs to work a lot to support us.
