Because my mother passed away and I have felt very sad. I was her only child. I heard that there was more work here for me, and the father of my kids, so we left everything and were encouraged by one of the children’s aunts to come here. It has been very hard, since her husband was not in agreement from the beginning, and that made everyone feel bad. However, thanks to God I was able to secure a job as a guard. Even though they don’t pay me very much, it was enough to buy enough food for me and my kids, and to afford the rent for one room for us to stay in. A little while later, I was able to get another job, but they didn’t allow me to have my kids there, so I would leave them in the care of their grandfather or the neighbor. However, then I was cruelly evicted from that place, and wasn’t able to find anywhere else to say, so that was when I decided to live in this room here.
