I want to start off with a warm greeting to the person reading this letter! My name is Norma Vertiz Calles, I am originally from Mexico city, and I came to Tijuana about 15 years ago. My two children were born here, Joscelyn Johana Vertiz Calles and Perla Lizeth Torress Vertiz. They are ages 14, and 9. I am a single mom, and because of that I’ve reached out to you guys for help in the assistance of a home, to be able to provide a roof for my kids where they won’t be cold and wet in the rain. Currently, we are living in a small room made of wood that lets in a lot of cold and rain, and I don’t want my kids to keep suffering. Thank you so much, there’s lots more I’d like to tell you, more about the difficulty of having to be a mom and a dad to my two kids, but I thank God, He has never left me alone.
