Hello and God bless you, we are the Flores Gonzales family. Our love story starts in 2014, and a bit after that, we had our first child, a girl. When she was about 3 years old, we learned that she has language and comprehension complexities and we were advised to take her to therapy. We did try to but ultimately it didn’t work out because we needed to pay our rent. Then, our second child was born and money became more scarce. A family member offered us a small space so that we wouldn’t have to pay rent and would be able to instead pay for our daughter’s therapy. A second teacher also noticed my daughter’s issues and recommended a therapist to us. Since then, we have been taking our daughter to therapy once a week. This is very difficult for us because my husband is the only one who works and our daughter’s therapy is very expensive. Now, the room they were lending us is no longer ours and we needed to build some quickly for our family. It’s a small room made out of wood and tarps. This is why we are reaching out to you for help, so that we can give our kids the home that they deserve. The room we currently stay in gets so hot and the kids are the ones who suffer most. Because my husband is the only one working, we don’t have the money on our own to build something better. Right now we only have enough to make our land payment, to buy milk and diapers for my baby, and to pay for my daughter’s therapy. I know God has heard our prayers, and has directed us to you. We need a home, for our kids. We don’t want them to suffer anymore. We know God will provide for all of our needs.
