Hi, my name is Sandra Orozco. Thank you for the opportunity to submit a letter. I have two little girls, a 6 year old, Anahy, and a 10 month old, Britany. My husband’s name is Lorenzo Bejar. We are from Michoacan and we are looking for a better future for all of us. We came to Rosarito with the hope of being able to give our daughters more in this life. 3 years ago we bought a piece of land that we could make payments on. It’s been very hard to make our land payment and also our rent, but they are the sacrifices you make in order to move forward. I (Sandra) help make piñatas but I don’t make very much money doing it. My husband, Lorenzo, works up to 7 days a week so that we can make ends meet but it’s never enough. That’s why I’m writing to you, because we know you have helped so many families be able to have a home of their own. We want to be able to do the same for our daughters, give them a home where they feel happy and have good memories of their childhood. We would love for you to be part of our story.
