Hello, my name is Maria Candelaria Bernal Gonzalez. I am the mother of 4 daughters, 2 of which still live with me. My 18 year old daughter is handicap, and my 15 year old is in junior high. I write to you asking for help because on my own, I do not have the resources to get ahead in life. In December of 2021, my house burned down. When our home burned down, we lost everything. Everything I had been working towards for years was suddenly gone. I work from home because of the care I need to provide for my handicap daughter- all my work materials were also lost in the fire. We also lost all my daughter’s medicine which was very expensive. I currently do not have a steady job and often find things that I can turn around and sell in the street.
