Letter from the family:
I would like to tell you a little bit of my family's story. I have 4 children, 3 of them are from my current partner. About 8 years ago is when I met my partner, we both fell into drugs and our lives were complete chaos. We lost everything and needed to enter rehab. While in rehab, my kids went to live with my mother in law because I was unable to take care of them. After leaving rehab, I got my children back and pleaded with my partner for a fresh start. It has been difficult to find somewhere to live because we don't make much money but thankfully, we have enough to eat. We are making our land payments and living with different family members on and off until we can find something better. Our financial situation is causing us great stress and familial difficulty.
