Hello! my name is Rufina and I’m from Veracruz, we came to Tijuana in search of a better life and work but since we came here we’ve been paying rent and every year they’ve raised the rent on us until we couldn't pay rent and the land anymore so we had to move to our land. I was working too but then my daughter got pregnant and her partner abandoned her so we are helping her. I stay back home now so she can work. My husband did the little house we live in with scrap wood they’ve been giving us. Our house leaks when it rains and it’s not properly sealed so a lot of air comes into the house when it’s windy and the house shakes. I heard about homes of hope because of my neighbor and it would be such a blessing if you guys could help us. Thank you so much in advance!!!
