Hello, my name is Blanca and I’m married to José Luis. We have three children; Valeria, Nathali, and Jose. My oldest daughter is in high school and also working to pay for her studies. Next year she will go to university and study biology! Our second daughter will be off to kindergarten next year and our youngest is still a baby. I work as a janitor at a childcare facility and my husband is a taxi driver. My husband suffered a heart attack while I was pregnant and we almost lost him. He is living with an 80% blockage in his aorta. We’ve tried to get him open heart surgery to clear his blockage but with no success. We’ve experienced a lot of medical negligence and we know at this point it’s a miracle that he’s still alive. We would greatly benefit from a home as it’s something we are unable to do on our own. Financially we are stretched due to all my husband’s medical needs. I think my husband would be able to relax and have less stress knowing his family has a home!
