Hello Homes of Hope my name is Norma, I am 30 years old, I am from a state in the south of Mexico. I am a single mother of two children. I have been living in Tijuana for five years. Previously I was renting but they did not accept children. So I had to look for another place. Unfortunately I was not able to find another option where I could live because everywhere I went they told me that they did not accept children, the places were too small or the rent was too high; so my budget was not enough to cover this or the other needs that I had to meet. This is why I made the decision to buy a piece of land. Because of my current situation, building a house is too expensive and my salary is low. So it is not possible for me to provide my children with a good place where they can be safe. When I found out about the support that Homes of Hope provided it was very encouraging for me. I am currently living on my land with my two children, in a room that I was able to build with a lot of work. I wish we could be in a place where we had more space and where it is safer. We have gone through sad situations, also happy ones, but we never forget to look towards God and ask for His help. Thank you so much for considering our family for this wonderful gift.
