LETTER FROM THE FAMILY:
Dear Homes of Hope team, we arrived at my aunt’s house about a year and five months ago and stayed there for a few months while we worked and saved enough money to make a down payment on our own piece of land. Now, we live there with my parents, my brother, and his seven-year-old daughter. With great effort, we bought some wooden pallets—and others were donated to us—to build small wooden rooms. The roof is made of plastic sheeting and tarp, so when it rains, water comes in completely, making things very difficult. That’s why we are asking for your support to help us provide a proper roof for our children and give them a better quality of life. We do not have the resources to build a fully finished home. We sincerely appreciate the support you provide.
