Hello Homes of Hope team. It is a pleasure to greet you. Four and a half years ago, we moved to Rosarito, Baja California. We made the decision to leave the state of Morelos, in southern Mexico, due to the high levels of crime there. A cousin kindly allowed us to use a room, which we covered with wood and placed flooring in, since rent prices are very high and we cannot afford to cover all our expenses. With great effort, we were able to pay the down payment for a piece of land and began making monthly payments. However, we cannot afford to build a house while also paying for the land. Where we currently live, the cold is intense, and the strong winds in recent months have caused us to get sick frequently. A friend told us about Homes of Hope and said that you might be able to help us with a home. We are a family of four, currently living in a single room without divisions, which is actually a garage. During the rainy season, the walls become damp and rainwater flows down the stairs, worsening our living conditions. On behalf of my family, we sincerely thank you for considering us.
