Dear Homes of Hope Team, My name is Gabriela Meza Meza, I am 36 years old, and I am the mother of two children: María, who is 15, and Leonardo, who is 20. Currently, my son Leonardo is the only one working to support our household. Nineteen years ago, I had an accident that caused a permanent visual disability. Because of this, I am unable to work, and I depend entirely on my son, who also supports his sister as she attends high school. I respectfully reach out to request the support you so generously offer to people in difficult economic situations. The place we live in has water leaks during the rainy season and does not provide adequate protection from the cold, which puts our well-being at risk. I would be deeply grateful for any help you can provide to help us have a safer and more dignified home.
