Dear Homes of Hope. My name is Karina Pérez García, I am 33 years old and a widow, mother of two girls, María José, 16 years old, and Betsabe, 9 years old. I work in Hunter Industries as an assembler, and my salary is barely enough for the most basic things. I live renting with my sister because alone would not be enough. Furthermore, I pay my land, in addition to the expenses of the school (Quotas, supplies, uniforms, and transportation). We live in a small room where there is no space for them to study well or keep their things. My money is distributed between rent, land, and school. I have nothing left to save or build or buy a house. That is why I ask you from the bottom of my heart for your help to have my own home. A small house would give us peace of mind and a place worthy for my daughters to grow up and study. I could work without the constant concern of where we are going to live.
