Dear Homes of Hope team, I find myself in the unfortunate position of having to reach out to you, as my current situation is quite difficult. In December 2023, I separated from my partner, and since then, I have faced many challenges. My former partner threw me out of the house with nothing. The place where we used to live was lent to us, and the owners asked me to vacate it. My mother, with great effort, sent me money to build a small room on a plot of land I am paying for. At first, things weren’t so hard because my former partner’s older children were living with me and helping out, but they have now gone on to start their own families. Now, I am alone with my young children. I do not receive any government assistance. I only have my salary and some income from catalog sales. I am truly grateful for this opportunity.
