"Dear Homes of Hope team, due to financial difficulties, my son, my mother, my sister, and I are currently living in a small room lent to us by a kind friend. A year ago, I took out a loan to cover the down payment on a piece of land, with the dream of building a little house — a dream I haven’t been able to make progress on. That is why I humbly come to you, with the hope that you might be able to help us. My sister takes on temporary jobs to pay for her studies, and whenever possible, she helps with food. I am grateful to God for placing you in our path, and I leave everything in His hands — if it is His will, may we be blessed with a home. Despite the challenges, I’ve made all my land payments on time, as well as school and food expenses for my son. I try to work extra hours whenever I can to increase my income.
