Dear Homes of Hope team, eleven months ago, a baby girl came into our lives, and just a week later I began experiencing severe pain and was diagnosed with gallstones. Shortly after, because of the poor condition of our home and the weather, our baby became ill with the flu, as the house does not protect us adequately from the cold and rain. We want to repair the roof, but my husband’s income is not enough, especially when our baby gets sick and medical expenses increase. For this reason, we deeply long for the opportunity to have a proper home built, so that during the rainy season water does not come inside, we do not have to move our mattress to avoid getting wet, and we are not surrounded by mud.
