LETTER FROM THE FAMILY:
Dear Homes of Hope team, we were born here in Rosarito, but at one point we moved to live in an invaded green area where the government eventually removed us and destroyed our home. I cried so much because my daughter was only seven months old and I was pregnant with my son at the time. Since then, we have been living in a place that someone kindly lent to us, but when it rains the water comes inside. We dug a trench to try to keep the water out, but it is still very difficult and the house is very cold. We only have one bed and a stove. We have struggled a lot and dream of having a dignified home where we can enjoy life as a family and finally have something of our own, but we do not have the financial means to build it.
