LETTER FROM THE FAMILY:
Dear Homes of Hope, our childhoods were very different, but the experiences we lived through led us to the same conclusion: we want to give our children a better quality of life than we had. My husband grew up in the countryside under very difficult conditions, living in a home with dirt floors, no bathroom, no electricity, no running water, and very limited living space. My own childhood was also marked by hardship. Our house was located near a hillside, and during the winter we endured the cold, while the rainy season often brought water into our home, damaging our belongings. When we learned we were expecting our first child, we decided to build a life together, but we did not have a home of our own, so we began renting. Over the years, rent has increased significantly and now consumes a large portion of our income, making it increasingly difficult to provide financial stability for our family. For this reason, we worked hard to purchase a piece of land, and by God's grace, we were eventually able to pay it off completely. Shortly afterward, our second daughter was born. She experienced ongoing health problems from infancy and required frequent medical care, resulting in unexpected expenses that placed a heavy strain on our finances. To reduce costs, we built a small room on our land so we could stop renting. Although we are grateful to have a place of our own, our living conditions remain very limited because the space is small and does not provide the comfort or security our daughters need. Our greatest hope is to provide them with a safe, stable, and dignified home where they can grow up with peace of mind and a better future. We place our trust in God and pray that, through generous people like you, our dream of providing a proper home for our family may become a reality. Thank you sincerely for taking the time to read our story and for considering our application. May God continue to bless you abundantly and strengthen the life-changing work you do for families in need.
