LETTER FROM THE FAMILY:
Dear Homes of Hope, am originally from the state of Michoacán, and I moved to Tijuana when I was 18 years old in search of a better future. I began working at a cardboard manufacturing company, where I met Wilmar, who is now my husband and is originally from the state of Chiapas. From the beginning, we shared the dream of owning a home, so we started saving with great effort. However, our plans changed when my sister and brother-in-law passed away, forcing me to leave Tijuana and use the savings we had worked so hard to build. A few years later, we returned and began again with renewed hope. The journey has not been easy, as I also experienced the loss of my mother, but despite these hardships, we never gave up on our dream. Through perseverance and hard work, we were able to save enough for the down payment on a piece of land. Today, I live with my family and also care for my sister, Éricka, who has a disability and depends on me for her daily care and well-being. We are sincerely grateful for the opportunity to be considered by your program, and we pray that God will continue to bless you abundantly, strengthen your ministry, and multiply your efforts as you bring hope and support to vulnerable families like ours.
