LETTER FROM THE FAMILY:
Dear Homes of Hope, we are a family of four and currently depend entirely on my husband's income. With great effort, we are making payments on a piece of land through a flexible, long-term payment plan, hoping that one day we will be able to build a home of our own. My husband works in construction, and his income is used to make the land payments, cover our household expenses, and provide for our children's school needs, including supplies and other school-related costs. Although we have tried to save enough to begin building our home, our income has not made that possible. We currently live in a borrowed house that is still under construction, and as a way of thanking the person who allows us to stay there, I clean her home on the weekends. Unfortunately, she recently informed us that she will continue construction on the house, which means we will soon have to move out and find another place to live. This situation is very concerning for us because we are not originally from this area and do not have family nearby who can provide us with a place to stay or support us during this transition. At this moment, we feel a great deal of uncertainty because we do not know where we will be able to go with our children. Our greatest desire is to have a safe, stable, and dignified home of our own where our children can grow up with security and where we no longer have to worry about constantly moving from one place to another. For this reason, we humbly come to you with hope. Receiving your support would be an incredible blessing for our family and would finally allow us to establish our roots in a place we can truly call home.
