Hello, my name is Marisela Garcia. Almost 7 years ago I bought land here in Rosarito, which was an amazing blessing. I remember it was a Sunday when we went with my parents and my daughter to look at some land in another neighborhood. However it was land that required too much work, they were too expensive, and the payments were required in USD… which felt very difficult to achieve. So we went on our way feeling a little down about it all.
Then my father remembered a man he knew that sold land but he couldn’t remember where his office was. Just a few minutes later on our way home we bumped into Jose who was the man who sold land in the very office that my father had talked about! We asked him if he still sold land and he said yes! This is how we were able to buy much more affordable land, and what was even more amazing was that our payments would be able to be in pesos.
We are so thankful to God that through all these years we’ve been able to continue to make payments every month without ever getting behind! However, it has been truly impossible for us to build a house because my income is only enough to pay the land and pay what is needed for my family… but I wanted so badly to be able to have a little home for my children… my children are my driving force; the reason I wake up every morning, the reason I give my all for this life.
The years are passing by so fast now, my daughter is already 15 years old. I would love for her to have her own space. She is the best daughter God could’ve ever sent me. She is so understanding and loving. She never asks for anything, instead, she helps me so much with her little brother including helping get good grades in school. More than anything, I just want to give my kids a home.
