Hello, my name is Iris Paola Rios Brito, and my husband is Armando Reynosa Quebrado. We have 4 daughters, the eldest is (1) Lizbeth Reynosa Rios, who’s 11 years old, and in 6th grade, (2)Itzel Reynosa R, 8 years old, is in 3rd grade, (3)Iris Amanda R.R. She is 2 years old, and my baby (4)Nataly Paola R.R. who’s 5 months old. My husband, I, and my 2 oldest daughters are originally from the state of Guerrero and my other 2 little girls were born here in Tijuana.
We arrived in Tijuana on August 27, 2016, and due to a lack of work in Guerrero, we decided to come here. When we arrived, we went to work at the Bodega Aurrera (Supermarket). We had nothing, not even a place to sleep. Little by little we had been buying our things for our home, and since we arrived, we have been renting a house in Hacienda Las Delicias. With a lot of effort, my husband decided to buy a piece of land near where we live. A neighbor sold him some second-hand walls. We built a little room, but we still haven't made a cement floor for it. Right now we are trying to build the septic tank since someone recently gave me a toilet for the bathroom.
I don't work anymore because I don't have someone to take care of my 4 daughters, it wouldn't be convenient for me to give them to someone to take care of them, because I would have to pay a lot of money. I wash other people's clothes (work at home) since my husband is the only one who works, and we don't have enough money. I ask for his support so that you help us make one more little room and the truth is that we don't fit in our current little room, it’s very small and there are 6 of us in the family. We have a lot of expenses, paying for the land, the rent, and giving money to my daughters for school and all other services.
