Letter from the family:

I Diana address you, to Homes of Hope with the great need that you can help me build a house for my family since we have struggled a lot to be able to have a home where my daughters can be happy and safe. It's been 12 years since we came from Mexicali here in Rosarito, to be able to take care of my mother-in-law who was very sick and alone. She needed someone who could attend to her needs, and we left what little or much we had to be with her. And for the reason that she began to recover, we began to make our lives here. Little by little, we bought a piece of land, but over time my husband had a stroke, and between the medications, doctors, and therapies, he later had the physical consequences of walking with difficulty.

That was very heavy for my daughters, and I, with my mother-in-law's illness and now my husband, since we couldn't do anything anymore and paying the rent and medical expenses, it was impossible for us to at least think about making a room.

My Mother-in-law, little by little, was recovering, at the same time my sister told me that my mother was also sick, that they could no longer take care of her, and that I should take care of her for a while. I accepted, but my mother had a paralyzed mid-body embolism. Between the diapers of adults, medicated milk, doctors, and her personal items, it was more difficult to achieve my Dream of providing a home for my daughters.

That short time that my sister told me, years passed, my husband gradually began to improve his health and began to work again, earning the minimum wage, but time passed and then my mother passed away, and I had to borrow money to pay for my mother's funeral and cemetery expenses.

The land was forgotten each time, until one day a call from Homes of Hope and I feel very happy because my 19-year-old daughter is pregnant and today more than ever we need the house because we are living with a friend who is doing us a favor by lending us a little room, but we struggle a lot, there is no water, for this reason, I ask you with all my heart that you can help me.God Bless you always.
