Rogelio is from Oaxaca, he is 31 years old and he work cleaning vegetables. Sasa is from Guanajuato and she is 30 years old. The couple has four kids: Priscila who is 11 years old, Daniel who is 7, Yabana is 6 and Jonathan is 3 years old. The couple meet each other while working on the fields and have been married for 12 years now.

The process to move to Ensenada started when Sasa’s mom got sick. They were living in Mexicali in that time, the hot and dry weather was bad for her health, so the family decided to move to Ensenada. The situation was hard for them in Ensenada, they didn’t have enough money so Sasa started to work selling vegetables even when she was pregnant for second time.  Five months after her second baby was born her mom died, few months later her dad passed away too. It was a hard time that only her faith in God and the presence of her new born son help them to go through.

In 2017 Rogelio’s mother gifted them a property and the moved in to the land. They have a two small rooms house, one is made of wood and the other is made of tarp. They don’t have enough space for all of them, so they are dreaming with receiving a bigger house. They have been working hard to give a better opportunity for their children, they sell vegetables and Sasa work cleaning houses. They are trusting in God, to receive a better place to live and to have a better situation to raise their children.
