The Hueyotlipan family are originally from Mexico City but have now lived for a few years in Ensenada. They met here at work in Ensenada, and a little while later they got married, and they decided not to have any children right away. Priciliano wanted his family to have their own place to live, so they bought a little piece of property, and they started paying for it little by little and built a little wood house at the same time. Soon their oldest son was born (he is now six years old) and two years later Jimena was born. Unfortunately to be able to build a safe place for their children has been difficult as the amount they earn, is only enough for their food. Priciliano works in the fields, cutting flowers, and he earns $47 USD weekly, and that is not enough to build a home for them. They are worried about their children as they are often bitten by bugs, and would like to have a safe place for their children.

Pablo and Celiflora came to Ensenada when they were children. Their parents moved to Ensenada looking for a better life. They met in 2016 at their job and after dating for 9 months they married in March 2017. A few months later she found out that she was pregnant and gave birth in December to Alexis.

Pablo is the only one who works to support their family, Celiflora is a stay-at-home mom. They live in a very small room made with wood scraps and cardboard. Their desire is to have a real home, a warm and safe place to raise and protect baby Alexis.
