Hello, my name is Micaela and the reason I’m writing you this letter is because of my financial situation. I’m a single mom unable to provide all the needs my family has including the ability to pay the school fees of my daughter. Everything is very expensive and outside of our means. My grandson who lives with me is currently in school and depends on me for all of his needs. I am an indigenous person and I speak Mixteco. I came to Tijuana because where I am from, there is no work. I have a piece of land that I’m paying for monthly but I don’t have the finances to also build a home there. When it rains, water comes through our roof and soaks us. The three of us live together in one, small room. Please consider helping my family, we would really appreciate it!
