Letter from the family:
Letter was written by one of our Homes of Hope staff on behalf of the family. Alicia and her family live in a small home made up of two rooms. She is a single mom and has separated from her husband in the last year. We went to Alicia’s home to interview her as she missed our normal interview day due to her work schedule. Alicia is in great need with a severely handicapped child, he’s 11. About 8 months ago he attempted to take his own life but was unsuccessful. This has left him with brain damage. Also in the home live Alicia’s daughter, son in law, and granddaughter. They take care of Alicia’s son while she works. We find them to be in great need and they qualify according to our standards.
