I hope everyone is doing great my name is Alicia Pacheco Navarrete we are a family of 4 Damarys My oldest, Jorge and Sergio. My story change 8 years ago when we use to live with my children’s dad he used to abused me physically and humiliate me, things got worse when he started abusing my children psychologically he used to locked us in the house without food, some times he left for a week with just bread and water. One time he came back home drunk and started beating my children I tried to protect them and he beat me and left me on the floor that’s when my daughter asked me to leave him that’s when I understood they didn’t deserve the punishment of living with him we left him and moved to Rosarito I started working as hard as I could to day and night to save money and have enough to do the down payment of our land, one of my bouts stopped studying to be able to help me and get the land faster, Thank God we are currently living in our land we made a small room of 9x 12 with a tarp over our roof, we sale food on the weekends and used clothes and that’s how we make it to pay monthly for our land and cover our main needs.
