Letter from the family:
I am asking for your help please with a home since my family is large and we do not fit in the small room where we live. I am asking for my children. The cold comes in and it is so cold and I am so worried that they will get sick. The place where we live is falling down and the wood is opened up. I ask with all my heart to be able to have a decent home and not suffer so much from the cold and water and wind and to be protected from the elements and not have the children get sick. I would like them to have a bit more space and also a better place to cook for my family. A few months ago, it rained so hard and the little that we did have got ruined, including our clothes, blankets and mattresses.
That’s why I’m asking with all my heart to please help me, for my kids, so they would be protected from the water, wind and rain. The place that we live in is really bad, with no windows and when it rains, the floor is wet and full of mud and it gets so cold and my kids sleep on a mattress on the floor. I am even afraid that at night while we are sleeping the roof could fall in on us. I am asking for this so that my children can have a better life.
