LETTER FROM THE FAMILY:
Dear Homes of Hope Team, I write to you with my heart in my hands, humbly requesting your support in building a dignified home for my daughters. Please allow me to share a bit of our story. I married very young and had my first daughter with my first partner. During the pregnancy of my second daughter, I separated from him due to severe physical and emotional abuse. Left alone with my children, without money or a place to live, I had no choice but to settle on an abandoned hill, where we lived for some time. I found a job and, little by little, managed to build a small wooden house. Later, I met my current partner, and we had our third daughter. Unfortunately, I became ill and could no longer work, making my husband the sole provider for our family. Sadly, about a year and a half ago, a fire destroyed our home completely, leaving us unable to rebuild. With great effort, my husband took out a loan, and we were able to make a down payment on a small piece of land. Over time, and as resources allowed, we managed to build a single room where all of us now live in very limited conditions. We trust in God and pray every day that He moves your hearts to help us. Despite our efforts to move forward, on April 28, our eldest daughter suffered an accident and lost parts of three fingers on her left hand. Without health insurance, covering the medical expenses has been extremely challenging. Thankfully, we have kind and supportive neighbors who have helped us in any way they can, even offering us meals during these hard times. I write this letter with tears in my eyes, sharing our story with the hope that you will consider helping us.
