LETTER FROM THE FAMILY:
Hello, We’re writing this letter to ask for your support, with our hearts in our hands and our faith in God, hoping you can help us build a home that gives our children a better quality of life. There are times when we feel like giving up. Sometimes we can't even afford groceries or school supplies because it's too hard to keep paying both rent and the land installment. With a lot of effort and sacrifice, we managed to save enough for a down payment so we could start something of our own. But in moments of despair, we’ve thought about giving up—though we believe God has a purpose for us and that one day our hard work will be rewarded. Right now, we’re renting a small wooden house with a tin roof. It gets very cold, and when it rains, water comes in through the roof and floor. Buying furniture or appliances isn’t an option, but thank God we’ve been loaned beds and a washing machine. God is good and hasn’t let us go, and we truly believe this opportunity is His doing. Our children ask every day for a warm home to sleep in. We eat at a foldable table, and our stove only has two burners—it leaks gas, but we can’t afford a new one. We don’t receive any government support. We’re hardworking people, and our biggest dream is to give our children a dignified home. The clothes we have are just the basics—most come from secondhand markets or are gifts. Our jobs don’t pay much, but they let us keep up with rent and the land payments. Sometimes we ask our landlord for more time because we can’t make rent, though we know he won’t be able to wait forever. With faith and from the bottom of our hearts, we ask for your help. It doesn’t matter if it’s small—we just want a warm and safe home for our children. Thank you so much for giving us this chance to share our story.
