LETTER FROM THE FAMILY:
I greet you warmly and sincerely wish that God continues to bless you. I’m truly thankful for the opportunity you’re giving us, and I have all the faith and hope that we will be blessed with your support to help us build our home. I’d like to share a bit about our situation and the reason why I’ve taken the step to ask for help. I know there are people in much more difficult situations, without homes and in extreme poverty, and thankfully that is not our case. We currently rent a home and I have a job that has allowed me to provide the essentials for my children. We don’t live in luxury, but we have what we need. However, with the cost of rent, the land payment, and daily expenses, it’s impossible for me to even consider building a house for my kids. In 2022, after a lot of effort and sacrifice, I committed to buying a piece of land. I’ve been able to keep up with all payments, as it’s my dream to see my children grow up there. That’s why I’m asking from the heart that you consider us and give us the chance to build our home. I want to give my children a place where they can enjoy their childhood, play, run, and just be kids. Right now, we don’t have a yard or much space where we live. If we’re selected, I commit to building little by little, as much as I’m able. Not having to pay rent would make a big difference. Currently, I have a partner who helps me financially and supports my children as well. We’ve been together for over a year, but we haven’t moved in together or formalized our relationship because he has three children, and I have three—so it would be quite difficult. We all get along, and sometimes they stay over, but we don’t live together. I’m making this request for the benefit of my children. Thank you again, and may God bless the beautiful work you do.
