We are a family that has been together for three years, and we come from the state of Guerrero. I have lived in Tijuana for five years; I moved here because there was no work in my hometown, and the situation became even harder after a hurricane destroyed my house. Currently, I work as a taxi driver and my wife sells tamales, but what we earn is not enough. We do not have much education, which limits our ability to find better jobs that could help us build a home or even a small room.
