LETTER FROM THE FAMILY:
Dear Homes of Hope team,through this letter, I would like to share our current situation and request your support in helping us complete the construction of our home. With great effort and our limited resources, we managed to build a 4x5 room. We are a family of three—my partner, our 12-year-old son, and myself. Due to our financial situation, we were only able to purchase the land and build this room in order to stop paying rent. This small construction is our only asset. At present, the roof is made of tarps and we do not have windows, but we have been living and sleeping there for the past 18 months. We wish to continue building a safer and more dignified home, but it has not been easy. We are deeply grateful for any support you may be able to offer us.
